Please note that it is not allowed to ride with backpacks or bags but Íshestar provides complimentary safety boxes at the stables for valuables.

We recommend that children under the age of 12 stay in the slower group with their guardians unless they are used to riding horses. At Íshestar we take pride in our personal service and limit group sizes to 20 or less to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. Our stables are located a short 20-minute drive from Reykjavik’s city center. This horseback riding tour is a perfect way to experience the diversity of the Icelandic nature in only 2 hours.

The age limit to ride on this tour is 8 years old. Children 14 years or older need written parental permission to ride alone.
Children receive a 25% discount on the tour price.
The weight limit for all our tours is 110 kg/240 lbs.
It is the responsibility of each rider to assess whether they are physically able to take part in the trip, including getting on and off the horses of their own accord.
If you are arriving in your own car, please be at our stable 30 minutes before departure.
Please note that the riding tour is 1,5-2 hours. With transfer total time is 4 hours.
